I got the correctly sized pistons today and everything went smoothly so far .

Same stuff as last time, forged ICON FHR flat- tops and scat connecting rods although this time I opted for a more premium box of hastings rings.

The pistons were basically the biggest thing left on the engine itself, next I guess is getting the cam degreed and figuring out the optimal pushrod length and then it’ll be pretty much done-ish.

Very cool! Looking forward to seeing it come together.

Mine will be done... eventually. Ordered the rotating assembly, once it arrives the machine shop will do the line hone, decking, bore/hone, etc. Still need to buy heads, cam, etc. so it’s a while (and many $) out, still. No need for it yet though, nowhere near ready to put the engine back in the car at this point!
